Dazi Ventures Inc dba Lucky’s Smokehouse is a licensed restaurant located in Sechelt, BC. It was established in 2010. Title of the position: Operations Manager

Terms of employment: permanent full-time position

Job duties:

1. Overseeing the functions of employees including managers and all staff

2. Formulating objectives on behalf of the restaurant and approving policies and programs

3. Formulating and approving promotional campaigns for “Lucky’s Smokehouse” including brochures and online social media

4. Selecting and hiring middle managers to run the restaurant

5. Authorizing and organizing kitchen department and front line department and their managers

6. Allocating material, human and financial resources to implement restaurant policies and service programs, establishing financial and administrative controls

7. Co-ordinating the work between kitchen and front line

8. Delegating the general/kitchen manager to act on behalf of the company in negotiations of purchase and other functions

Requirements:

Language: English

Education: college diploma

Work experience: 3 to 5 years

Personal suitability: excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, team player

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Word

Work condition and physical capabilities: Faxt-pace environment, work under pressure, tight deadline, attention to detail
