Northway Bus Lines is proud to be the only bus company in Ontario to have seatbelt buses. We are part of a Canada wide pilot project to see if putting seatbelts in school buses will improve school bus safety in Canada. We are in need for a school bus monitors in the Garson area to help the driver with the pilot project. Your duties would include helping younger children learn how to properly put on and off a seatbelt and ensure that all children wear their seatbelts throughout the route. A daily data sheet is also filled out to ensure we are providing as much information as possible to the Council of Deputy Ministers Task Force so they can better decide if all school buses need seatbelts. You must be able to meet the bus driver at our parking lot on Heino street in Garson, (just off O'neil drive) and pass a criminal check. The hours are 6:30am to 9:15am and then 2pm to 4pm.
