Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Seasonal Yard Clerk (May 1st– September 1st, 2023) at our Crop Inputs Location in Nipawin, SK.

Reporting to the Agro team leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vison, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
  • Load and unload Agro & crop inputs products; maintain cleanliness, rotation, storage, and order of merchandise in the yard, compound, and storage areas
  • Prepare orders for delivery and assist in loading
  • Ensure safety is held as the highest priority
  • Responsible for care of vehicles and equipment
  • Pilot bin deliveries & deliver augers
  • Operate skid-steer to move fertilizer in and out of appropriate locations in instructed quantities
  • Assist with conducting inventory counts and maintaining yard and building areas all while completing the required paperwork based on department standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

  • You have a grade 12 or equivalent; agricultural and mechanical experience is an asset
  • You’re well organized, able to work unsupervised, and able to plan and organize your own work
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated, and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You have strong attention to detail and can remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to fulfill physical job requirements; manual labour is required including pushing, pulling, crouching, and lifting
  • You have a flexible work schedule including holidays (in season) and are available to work a weekend rotation
  • You must have a valid driver’s licence and be willing to obtain a forklift operators certificate
