As UI/UX Design Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring our services provide the best possible experience for various types of users. You’ll also be responsible for working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business needs and objectives into a simple, usable, and practical service.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Lead UX Design support on substantial web / responsive and native mobile applications.
  • Consult and support UX Designers and Product Managers
  • Visualize and iterate future-state enhancements/roadmap items
  • Help define, maintain and update various design systems (i.e., web and mobile apps)
  • Ensure consistency and proper use of design systems across various design teams and products
  • Plan and moderate usability sessions with target personas, create high-level findings reports, design recommendations, etc.
  • Review and approve designs alongside the Product Lead
  • Interviewing candidates to join the design team
  • Perform quarterly UX Workshops to improve team knowledge
  • Advocate for improvements in the design and product team
  • Mentor and give regular feedback to junior, intermediate, and senior designers
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of product design experience in a software and/or wellness industry
  • Minimum 4 years of professional work experience as Lead UX UI Designer or in a similar role with proven experience leading UI/UX teams
  • Proven track record of working closely with the Development, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams on overall product vision and process to deliver an outstanding product experience
  • Strong knowledge of web strategy and standards
  • Strong knowledge of wireframe tools and Prototyping (e.g., Sketch and In Vision or similar).
  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills for effective relationship building
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present information formally
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and requirements
  • Proven insight and proactive problem solving through innovative and pragmatic solutions
  • Hands-on experience working with user researchers to turn findings into design improvements
  • Promote a results-oriented culture of teamwork, respect, excellence, integrity, and accountability
  • Ability to work independently to execute against deadlines, finding ways to maximize efficiency in an agile process
  • Bachelor’s Degree in design, Compute Software, and/or relevant field experience
