EduTravel is Ontario’s leader in Experiential Education and specializes in creating life-changing learning experiences for students through travel. EduTravel offers programs all through Canada, North America, and the world, and we are looking for Tour Directors to lead our groups out on the road.

What is an EduTravel Tour Director?

In short, our Tour Directors are responsible for making epic memories for our student travelers.

EduTravel Tour Directors are: charismatic, energetic, responsible, and professional but most importantly have a passion for travel and make it their goal to infuse the same passion in our students by making sure they have a trip of a lifetime!

Being a Tour Director is awesome because:

• You can lead as many or as few tours as you wish!

Tour Director’s duties and responsibilities include:

• Running the logistics of the pre-planned itinerary to assure a smooth trip
• Delivering facts, histories, and stories that inspire students about the destination
• Assist with student supervision
• Be in contact with the EduTravel head office in Toronto
• Make the trip awesome!!!

Tour Directors must :

• Have a clear criminal background and vulnerable sector check in order to work with students
• Have outstanding communication skills
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Have endless energy
• Be an excellent problem solver and quick thinker on one’s feet
• Have a passion for travel and can’t believe how lucky they are to have a job where they get paid to travel
• Live our mission to Engage, Enrich and Inspire!

Completed Bachelor level degree and multiple languages are assets.

Salary Information: Salary depends on the trip’s duration and the Tour Director’s experience, but all the travel and meal expenses while on a tour are always covered.

Contract length: 2-3 months

Salary: $175.00-$225.00 per day
