About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Project Manager. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Product. The role of a digital project manager is to ensure all of the necessary deliverables for a project are completed and handed over on time and on budget.
What will you do?
- Provide end-to-end project management scope while ensuring demand and quality standards are met
- Develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress of each deliverable
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the Requirements Analyst, to understand project requirements and enforce high quality Jira tickets
- Work with developers to refine backlogs and triage new requests
- Developing detailed designs, plans, and monitoring progress as well as writing up reports.
- Scheduling frequent check-ins with key stakeholders, including providing status reports to senior executives
- Escalating challenges and clearing roadblocks when necessary
- Communicate with the team and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks
- Highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues
- Finding and suggesting opportunities for improvement
- Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities
- Provides thought leadership, guidance, and advice in own field.
- Adapts communication techniques for audiences at multiple internal and external levels.
- Champions project management standards and overall value internally and externally.
- Work with directors and development teams to determine and manage tasks, issues, risks and action items
- Manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
What Qualifications do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 5-8 years of work experience in project management
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong leadership skills that enables you to be comfortable managing cross functional technical teams, staffing and project issues in multiple locations
- PMP certification or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred experience in Software Application Development and Infrastructure Project Management.
- Experience with agile development methodologies
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
