A bit about the role:
The Talent and Culture specialist at Treefrog is responsible for recruiting and retaining amazing Frog talent as well as working to create an excellent employee experience. Reporting to the Director, Talent and Culture, this role will be split into 50% recruitment and 50% generalist work such as day to day HR activities and improving Frog engagement online and in office.
What your days with us will look like (Roles and Responsibilities):
Talent Acquisition
- Build trusting relationships with Managers to understand and support their current and future hiring needs
- Understanding the company’s organizational structure and desired skill sets and profiles needed for each position
- Sourcing, screening, presenting, and managing candidates for both internal roles and our Partnership Program (Freelancers)
- Manage the active candidate pool while ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience
- Assist with the execution of our internship programs
- Seek out new opportunities to promote careers Treefrog
- Create and maintain long term relationships with candidates for future openings
- Driving continuous improvement in the recruitment process by bringing innovative solutions, D&I best practices and supportive value initiatives (ie. HM training)
Generalist Tasks
- Assist with maintaining personnel data in various HR systems
- Create and implement a culture calendar for the year that involves online and in person business and social events
- Be point of contact for general employee inquiries
- Assist in the continuous improvement of internal processes and policies
What you bring to the role (Skills or Experience) :
- 2+ years of recruitment experience in house or agency
- Technical or marketing recruitment experience
- Experience in building upon and improving existing recruitment processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in sourcing, screening, selection, negotiation, onboarding, and diversity & inclusion
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit and drive to find the right candidate for the role
- Experience with HRIS and ATS (Bamboo HR or similar)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills both oral and written, interpersonal skills, and professionalism
