Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Data Analytics to join the Teva Canada team!

The senior manager ensures senior leadership and mid-level management are informed of market trends and insights by providing timely data (both internal and external) for improved decision-making. This person will be responsible for creating a platform where both internal and external data can be sourced from to improve its usage for planning purposes (Demand Planning, Finances, Sales Effectiveness, Marketing, Sales). This role provides strategic guidance on how to best use the different set of data with the caveats that come from each of them. Finally, this person would be responsible to improve process efficiencies between departments using data by connecting the data sets.

Tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Market Insights Structure

  • Lead the implementation of an internal/external market data framework to centralize all data sets for the commercial team into 1 unique database
  • Establish a system for capturing and disseminating competitive information with internal stakeholders


Forecasting Support

  • Integrate IQVIA data where relevant into LBE/LRP/AOP forecasting activities
  • Support Corporate Accounts, OTC, Retail and Hospital teams with timely and relevant market data to improve decision making for RFP bids


Reporting & Analysis

  • Proactively develop analysis on market conditions, competitors and our own product line on a national and provincial basis
  • Manage ad hoc data request from all functions of the organization. Provide data and analysis to help address their business concerns.
  • Lead the IQVIA Dashboard continuous improvement process while ensuring representatives are getting the information to need to make informed decisions


Other

  • Special projects to improve data flow processes
  • Oversight of other team members and their operational and/or developmental activities in connection with overall Gx market data framework and output.

Qualifications


  • Required: University Degree in Business or Science. Preferred: Master of Business Administration.
  • 10 years + in related business experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, either in a people management or project management capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Canadian Generic & OTC pharmaceutical market highly preferred.
  • Extensive generic market insight experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IQVIA data offering and associated tools.
  • Excellent MS Office skills particularly in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Extensive project management skills, including organizational and multi-tasking.
  • Superior analytical and strategic skills.
