Sales Representative Job at Brookville Carriers Flatbed
Position scope:
Under minimal supervision, the Sales Representative is responsible for managing the current clients, developing, and growing new accounts (clients) to generate sales for our logistics business. The position will report to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate would be an experienced transportation sales professional, ambitious self-starter who can actively seek and obtain new clients in the market.
Description:
· Communicate with existing customers to maintain relationships and high levels of customer service
· Manage and develop new customers relationship
· Work to develop existing customers into larger accounts
· Manage the sales and quotation process while maintaining close contact with the Management team and focusing on the profitability of lanes
· Develop a pipeline with potential clients
· Work to increase revenue and decrease costs by finding customers in the right areas and quoting our service
Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 Years Transportation sales experience
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
· Ability to build long lasting and meaningful relationships with clients
· Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Power Point is required
· Experience with AS400 is an asset
· An educational background in Business, Commerce, or Marketing is considered an asset
