We are looking for an entrepreneurial, experienced and licensed Registered Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse to help patients navigate their medical visits in Kinmount Ontario.

Good Doctors has been operating since 2015 and has been delivering much-needed primary care to communities that are underserved in Ontario.

We are looking for a dedicated RN or RPN who will continue delivering on our mission and provide a best-in-class patient experience.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle multi-tasks, and detail-oriented;

• Drive and sincere interest in supporting patients as they navigate their medical encounters during and after their appointments;

• A real sense of ownership and responsibility for the clinic environment and patients;

• Team player who also possesses the ability to work independently; and

• Good standing with the College of Nurses.

The major duties for the position are as follows:

• Assist patients, both new and returning, with their telemedicine encounter by creating patient demographics, taking patient medical history and using technology to connect patients with the doctor.

• Take vitals for patients when required;

• Perform simple diagnostic tests;

• Utilize clinical skills to perform injections, simple wound care procedures etc.

• Liaise with patients for further consultations, follow-ups or questions patients may have;

• Fax/email consultation requisition forms to specialists;

• Scan and upload the patients’ documents to the EMR system;

• Oversees the overall clinic environment: keeping the clinic setting professional and tidy, ensuring clinic supplies are ordered, and reconciling financial transactions weekly.

• The other tasks required to operate the clinic.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
