Registered Nurse Job at MEDICARE Staffing solution Inc.
Our company is seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about serving the health needs of children. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medicine to patients and completing health screenings, and will work directly with students and parents to help keep students healthy and happy. We are looking for an individual who shows a commitment to developing professional relationships, making decisions that are in the best interest of our students and demonstrating good judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Triage patients to determine priority treatment needs and whether the patient can be discharged safely.
- Assist in the organization and management of nursing care for a specific group of patients within the hospital.
- Consult with physicians and patients to address nursing care needs.
- Deal effectively with emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of patients in order to promote recovery, reduce pain, and prevent infection.
- Make recommendations regarding medical treatment when warranted, considering medical history, physical condition and age of patient, as well as emotional impact on the patient.
- Assess nursing care needs and supervise nursing care provided as part of a treatment team, or independently with the authorization of a physician or other authorized health care professional.
- Provide patient and family education concerning the nature of illness or injury and its treatment plan in order to promote compliance with treatment and to promote healing.
- Supervise subordinate nurses; provide guidance and support through mentoring.

Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
