THE JOB:
Ridgeline Environment, a division of Ridgeline Canada is recruiting for a Project Manager of Drilling Waste Management based out of Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge, or surroundings areas.
The individual will work closely with the company professionals in our Environment division through coordinating work for our clients while maintaining excellent communication between the client and our field professionals. Our Project Managers are also responsible for the development of competent field professionals who meet and exceed industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day field operations of the drilling waste management team;
- Ensuring field execution is accurate/compliant with regulations, as well meeting expected deadlines of clients;
- Responsible for hiring, managing and training field staff of the waste management team;
- Work closely with technical team and general managers to ensure reporting materials are complete and of industry standard;
- Develop rapport and maintain strong relationships with clientele, drilling waste management team, vendors, contractors, management team and all other staff;
- Regularly conduct field visits and be available for client field visits, as needed;
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulators;
- Stay up to date with any changing or pending regulator legislation;
- Collaborate with General Managers to review reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of related field experience in drilling waste management or other oil field related environmental discipline;
- Competent knowledge of current drilling waste regulations and applicable land reclamation regulations;
- Understanding of the upstream oil and gas regulatory requirements in AB, SK & BC;
- Possess current field certifications including H2S Alive, First Aid, etc.;
- Availability to conduct field visits and support drilling team on-site;
- Valid driver’s license and owns reliable 4X4 vehicle;

- Possess a strong regard for safety and demonstrate exemplary safety leadership;
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote, TEAMS, etc.);
- Excellent leadership and decision making skills;
- Ability to manage people, conflict resolutions, and demonstrate ability to influence;
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong results;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing environments.

Salary: $99,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
