SUMMARY:

We are looking to add a Maintenance Millwright/Mechanic to our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Millwright/Mechanic will work alongside a team of unionized hourly maintenance mechanics and plant production employees. The holder of this position will be apart of the production facility in Huntsville, Ontario and will be responsible for growing their knowledge in this specific role and work towards their full certification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Being able to work alone without constant supervision
• Being comfortable with physical demands of movements such as repetitive upper body movements, reaching, crouching, and being able to work in tight areas
• Adapting to a team oriented and fast paced work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must obtain full Millwright License or 10+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience in industrial machine repairs and maintaining process equipment and plant support systems
• Must obtain a High School Diploma/GED
• Must have strong time management skills
• Excellent problem solving, communication and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License
• Clear understanding the importance of health and safety protocols in the workplace
• Strong ability to read and write the English language
