Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle regular maintenance, basic and major repairs in a timely manner
• Inspecting assigned vehicles to determine if additional safety work is required or recommended
• Familiar with completing vehicle inspection report and comfortable road-testing vehicles if enquired using safe driving standards
• Contacting the Shop Supervisor and/or Service Consultants if additional work is required
• Obtaining, Returning parts from / to Parts Dep.
• Tagging replaced parts for warranty or customer requests
• Keeping up-to date with manufacturer TSB and recalls
• Achieving set personal targets
• Provide clear and accurate documentation of all repairs
• Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective equipment to the shop supervisor
• Sustaining a high attention to details and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Strives to go the extra mile to meet the quality standards our customers expect.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario 310S license
• 1 – 3 years of dealership Technician or Apprentice Technician, flat-rate
• Must be able to work and perform electrical and mechanical diagnosis with minimal supervision
• Valid Driver’s License with recent drivers abstract
• General Service Department experience preferred
• Able to establish and maintain good working relations with the team
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reynolds experience is an asset

Experience:

• Automotive repairs licensed Technician: 1-3 years (preferred)
• Dealership: 1 year (Preferred)
• Reynolds and Reynolds: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule:

• 8 hours shift
• Weekends

COVID-19 considerations:

• Staff daily pre-screening survey
• Plexiglass shields around all our advisor desks to keep staff and guests separated
• Disinfect all vehicles that come in for service
• Face masks are mandatory when away from work desk
