Lab Technician - Manufacturing Job at Rochester Aluminum
Rochester Aluminum Smelting Canada is a metal recycling and processing company located in Concord, Ontario.
We are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician - Manufacturing, for our Concord Location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sampling Raw material and finished products
- Testing of products
- Supervision of forklift operators
- Performs all assigned job functions per documented procedures as directed by Team Lead
- Performs daily equipment and lab maintenance tasks
- Able to follow all documented procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as on teams
- Professional presence and strong attention to detail is required
- Technical proficiency that enables execution of documented procedures
- Demonstrated experience with common computer software packages (Windows, MS Office, etc.)
Qualification:
- University/College degree or diploma in science, math, engineering, or equivalent experience required
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Use of a web browser.
Training will be provided
Job Type: Full-time – Monday to Friday 8 PM to 5 PM and rotating Saturdays (Approximately 1 Saturday shift per month)
