Maple Lodge Farms is Canada’s largest independently owned poultry processor. It engages in processing and supplying chicken products in Canada and internationally. It offers bacons, deli chicken meats, sliced packaged meats, fresh seasoned chicken, frozen boxed meats, and wieners. Maple Lodge Farms, Ltd. was founded in 1955 and is based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

We are looking engaged individuals to work as a full-time Driver Operator in Woodstock, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting workers and equipment to the various job sites and to operate a forklift.

A valid AR license is required. We will provide the forklift certification if needed.

SHIFT: Nights Monday to Friday (night shifts will vary)

Location of position: 684460 Rd 68 Woodstock, ON N4S 7V7

PAY RATE: $35.00 up to $40.00 per hour + additional pay will be given based on delivering up to multiple loads

What you will be doing

• Responsible for the safe and secure transport of employees, and equipment from various farms within Ontario
• Responsible for operating forklift to transport empty containers (module) into the barn, and then transport filled containers to live haul trailers.
• Responsible for the safe and secure transport of team members to worksite.
• Responsible for completing and maintaining all truck safety procedures and all paperwork, including route details.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures, animal welfare training and more.
• Promote and comply with all Maple Lodge Farms Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Management policies, procedures and controls

What you will bring

• 1-2 years of truck driving experience.
• A valid AR License and a clean driving record.
• A valid forklift ticket is required. We will provide the forklift training certification if needed.
• Flexibility with working conditions. (ex. hours of work, weather and road conditions, farm environments etc.)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be conformable driving in routes
• Company truck will be provided
