Delivery Driver
This position involves delivering crop input products to local growers in a safe and effient manner. The ideal candidate will have a background in driving with a truck and trailer, an understanding of safe driving habbits, and the ability to work varying hours. The Delivery Driver will report to the Logistics Coordinator, and their first priority will be to create a safe environment for themselves and other workers by performing inspections prior to delivery, completing required forms, following safety guidelines and observing all organization regulations.
At MacEwen Agricentre Ltd. we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality crop inputs and service to our customers in the agricultural industry. Therefore, a background in agriculture as well as a the ability to communicate in both official languages is considered an asset.
**Possibility of permanency**
Requirements:
- Posess a valid class G license
- a clean abstract and background check
- a good customer service attitude
- be detail oriented
- possess a willingness to work additional hours to meet business demands.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 2-6 months
Part-time hours: 20-50 per week
Salary: From $18.50 per hour
