Job Summary:
Ditchfield Supplies is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 & Class 3 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to drive an end dump tandem or end dump semi. The Class 1 & Class 3 Driver will be responsible for transporting products and materials to various locations safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a standard transmission delivery vehicle to transport products and materials to various locations
- Ensure all deliveries are completed within the set timeframes and deadlines
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload products and materials at each delivery location
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Report any issues or concerns with the vehicle to the appropriate supervisor
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth deliveries
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in all weather conditions
