Our client in Puslinch is looking for a Reach Truck Driver to join their team on a contract to hire basis.

About the Role:

Successful candidates will work as a reach truck operator in a refrigerated food facility. Candidates will be responsible for the following...

• Grab/ Sign out RF Scanner and Dock Stocker (MHE) or Reach Truck
• Look at RF Scanner to see what location you are going to
• Jobs consist of case picking orders on scanner (Grab 3 boxes of bacon, 2 boxes of chicken wings ETC.)
• Building full pallet while driving around. Using your hands/ physicality to grab and put on pallet. Weight can be anywhere from 5-30lbs.
• Once pallet is complete they will have to stage order and move onto next RF scanner order.
• For 3-4 months they will be only on case picking. After this they will move on to getting training on reach truck where they will be doing high-level case picking, may do some work in receiving.
• Candidates will be working in Fridge and freezer environment at all times. They will never be in Freezer there whole shift however it could be for majority.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year(s) experience with operating a reach truck or dock stocker (MHE/stand up forklift)
• 1+ year(s) experience with RF scanner
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Comfortable with working in a fridge/freezer environment

Shift & Pay:

Afternoons: 3:00PM - 11:00PM (Mon - Fri)

Nights: 11:00PM - 7:00AM (Mon - Fri)

Wage:

Pay starts at $25.50/ HR

• Afternoon Premium: $0.50 cents
• Nights Premium: $0.75 cents

Breaks:

• 2, 15 minute paid break
• 30 minute unpaid lunch
