JOB SUMMARY - Reporting to the store manager, the Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a high energy, demanding environment. The Waiter/Waitress will be in charge of seating, serving food to customers and preparing some menu items while simultaneously ensuring that health and safety regulations are being followed. Other responsibilities include serving customers on a POS system and daily store maintenance; unpacking and stocking merchandise, store cleaning (inside and outside), counting products and cash floats, as well as other store specific duties.
JOB DUTIES
- Greet customers, present menus, answer questions and make recommendations
- Serve food and prepare some menu items
- Cash Handling, use of POS System and Inventory Monitoring/Balancing
- Clean and sanitize kitchen area and appliances
- Stock inventory and ensure diner is well stocked
- Abide by all policies, procedures, operational guidelines and government regulations
