Position to begin for the 2023-2024 School Year
An opportunity exists for a dynamic, enthusiastic leader in the role of Vice-Principal at George Davison School. George Davison School is a Kindergarten through Grade 6 school of approximately 360 in the Southridge subdivision of Medicine Hat, that also offers an Early Learning Program (ELP) for three and four-year-olds.
The school’s culture is built upon the implementation of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Ross Greene’s philosophy, “If kids could, they would”. These foundational principles, along with an embedded Collaborative Response framework, guide our work to coherently respond to the learning needs of our students and ensure that structures and processes are in place to support an inclusive learning environment.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to complement our team. The successful candidate will be a strong instructional leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate school community partners. A strong background in structured literacy, numeracy and small group instruction is an asset.
