We are seeking a candidate with Industrial Sewing knowledge and experience to join our team at School Bus Parts Co. and B.M.R. Mfg. Inc. for a permanent full-time position. We are open to offering the position as permanent part-time to the right candidate if part-time is preferred. We have been located in our plant in Campbellford, ON for 40 years, and are a manufacturer and supplier of School Bus related parts.

With your knowledge of the use of industrial, single needle sewing machines, piping machines, and sergers, and your ability to understand basic blueprints, you will join our team to manufacture Winter Front Covers, Seat Covers, and other vinyl created items used in School Buses throughout North America. You will assist in the design process, and inform your team-lead of material and equipment related needs. You will be able to work from drawings and render patterns which will be utilized to create final products

This position will require a high attention to detail, the ability to work in both the standing and sitting positions for long periods of time, and will require the safe use of provided machinery.

As part of this position, you will be required to assist in the assembly of other School Bus related items when sewing is not required. This will include the manufacture and assembly of Stop Arms, Crossing Gates, and related products.

General use of air-power tools, ability to lift 50 – 80 lbs, and being able to shift through a variety of tasks throughout the work day are requirements of this position.

Hours are from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Thursday, and 8:00am to 4:00pm Fridays for Full Time.
