We are currently hiring for the following subjects and locations:

All of Calgary/Airdrie/Chestermere/Okotoks: Grade K - 12 All subjects

What do we do?

We provide one-on-one tutoring services that take place in the student’s home (most students) or online. We look at building long-term relationships with our clients and our tutors and focus on offering our clients the best services possible all while charging clients the lowest price.

What would you do?

You will travel to the client's house (or tutor online) on a weekly basis to help the student(s) with the designated subject(s) this may include helping the student with homework, building lesson plans, and schedules, or any other educational needs required.

• Clients are required to have a minimum 1 session/week

• We personally match you with the appropriate student. We use our proprietary matching system to match students and tutors to ensure a perfect match!
• We care about our tutors and put their needs and our clients needs above everything else.
• We provide you with the resources to be successful including, textbooks and solutions to textbooks (course dependent).
• You choose to tutor as close or far from home as you wish and as many students as you wish (typically between 3.75 - 15 hours per week)
• Contract work with flexible part-time evening and weekend hours (you're given the clients availability before you accept working with them)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Certified or retired teachers, student teachers, educational assistants etc. OR University/College students (minimum 2nd year), graduates or post-graduates
• Able to work a minimum 3.75 hours per week
• Have access to a vehicle (90% of our students are in-person)
• Recent Police Information Check
• Available Evenings and/or Weekends
• Previous tutor or teaching experience highly preferred but not mandatory
• Access to a vehicle or reliable form of transportation preferred as most sessions are in-person (sessions occur at the student's house)
• Knowledge of the Alberta Curriculum (for the subjects you wish to teach)
• Able to commit to a student for the entire academic year (until June 2023) preference given to candidates wanting to work for the long-term

• Extremely patient with the ability to always keep a positive and reassuring attitude
