Truck Maintenance Mechanic Job at Duracon Industries
Dura-Con Industries is looking for a mechanic to look after maintenance of our fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment. We do ready mix concrete and precast delivery with knuckle boom crane trucks. We have a fleet of around 20 units that need to be looked after. Winter is a slower time for us, so we try to complete all safeties and preventative maintenance at that point.
Looking for someone who:
-Can work well unsupervised
-Is able to complete all regular maintenance and troubleshoot truck issues from driver feedback
-Able to use a computer to order parts, keep track of maintenance records
-Ensure communicate with other employees to ensure equipment is ready to run for busy days
-Keep parts and supplies in stock and ready to use
-Can help (and show us how to!) keep a neat and organized workplace
-Most importantly, has a good work ethic and good morale!
