Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Assistant Manager / Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and/or music and possess excellent sales and communication skills. Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is essential, as well as strong writing abilities for crafting promotional materials, event blogs, and other content. The candidate should be proactive, positive, and able to develop and implement new strategies to attract customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the studio's social media presence by posting daily activities, including class videos, promotions, events, and other relevant content.

Perform routine front desk receptionist duties when required, including:Monitoring the cleanliness and organization of the studio
Greeting and engaging with students, parents, and visitors
Assisting with class scheduling, enrollment, and payment processing
Updating and maintaining student records and other administrative tasks

Actively promote our class packages to interested clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of our offerings and the unique advantages of our studio.

Assist with event planning and coordination, including contacting potential performance opportunities and collaborating with instructors.

Provide support to instructors during classes, helping to facilitate communication and ensure a positive experience for students.

Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, using appropriate language and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• University or college degree
• Proficient in English and basic cognition of Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
• Enthusiastic about global entertainment (dance, music, entertainment shows, and celebrities)
• Familiar with various types of social media platforms (basic editing, postings of photos and videos)
• Able to work on weekends
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work calmly under pressure and in time-sensitive situations
• Strong ability to keep precise records and schedules
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative to complete tasks
• Experience building positive relationships with clients
• Ability to maintain correspondence with clients regarding logistical details
• Experience tracking and updating event details (dates, times, teachers, etc.)
• Ability to collaborate with the Operations and Managers as needed
• Timely response to WeChat messages and phone calls
• Ability to resolve logistical issues quickly and calmly
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned

Compensation:

The Assistant Manager / Assistant Director will receive a competitive base salary, commensurate with experience, as well as a commission structure based on sales performance. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.
