EFI is looking for a Software Engineer based out of our Richmond Hill, Canada office. We are looking for a C#/C++ software engineer to join a vibrant team in a small office environment as part of our Self-Serve and Mobile Printing team ( EFI - Self-Serve and Mobile Printing - Products ). This is a hybrid work opportunity including both remote and in-office activities.

Since you will be working very closely with software and hardware developers, documentation specialists and QA testers, it is essential that you enjoy working in a team.

What you will do:

• Develop multi-threaded applications involving user interfaces, databases, hardware integration, and connection to web services
• Work collaboratively with other team members on our client and host development teams to ensure seamless and robust integration
• Bring technical expertise to all discussions and help the team make sound technical decisions
• Design and architect solutions based on requirements and existing features
• Research and learn new technologies and tools

The role might be a good fit if you:

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development
• Are experienced with both C# and C++ on Microsoft platforms
• Possess a strong understanding of .NET technologies, object-oriented design, and multi-threaded applications
• Can analyze and troubleshoot issues in large code bases
• Have experience with embedded platforms and products for the retail industry
