Shop Hand/Tester
Allweigh Scale Systems Inc has an opening for a Full-Time Shop Hand/Tester.
This position is a support role.
The role consists of an array of functions that may include assisting in production and assembly, testing sensors.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Testing of Torque and weighing systems sensors
- Set up and Calibration of sensors
- Rigging in & out of equipment/Sensors
- Using Torque Testing Equipment
- Use of computers
- Operating forklift, Skid Steer, Overhead Crane
- Assisting with other electronic production operations
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and emptying trash as necessary.
Physical Demands
- Handling of normal stock will include lifting or carrying parts in excess of 60 lbs. up to 10% of the time. Majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 60 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, and sit.

- TBD.
- Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be worn when required and necessary.
Qualifications
- Functionally literate and capable of recognizing parts numbers
- Computer Skills an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and reliable
- Clean, Detailed and Organized
- Forklift experience an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
