Shop Foreman
We are seeking a shop foreman for our Grande Prairie branch.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day allocation of work to the technicians.
• Guide and mentor apprentices and journeyperson technicians on proper trouble shooting and repair procedures for heavy equipment.
• Act as a point of contact for the EMSCO service department for customers, managers, and employees.
• Follows and consistently enforces administrative processes for timecards, parts requisitions, service reports, field level hazard assessments, safety procedures & time off requests.
• Communicate clearly and directly with customers on their equipment that is being worked on, including repair options, expected timelines and any found work as the job progresses.
• Review and approve customer work orders after ensuring the job was completed as per customer expectations.
• Additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
• Minimum of 5 years hands on experience completing troubleshooting & repairs on heavy equipment such as Hyundai, CAT, John Deere and/or Hitachi.
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated work habits.
• Highly organized.
• Valid class 5 license, with a clean drivers abstract.
• Strong focus on safety.

Salary: $52.00-$56.00 per hour
