Our Branding Specialist company, Vision Luxx, is looking for an outgoing, creative individual to join our expanding team as a Full Time Video Editor. You would be thrilled to know that our company allots for a variety of different creative projects for you to work on.

Some projects we have at our finger tips are the following but not limited too; Major event promotional videos, high-end commercials, multi-cam educational podcasts, TV show like social media content, vertical reels, and much more.

Qualifications of Vision Luxx's Video Editor Role:

Strong portfolio of social media video editing, engaging/creative editing, outside of the box ideas.

Loves pushing the boundaries of editing and sometimes pushes to far ;) We LOVE somebody who tries new things and isn't afraid of being told it's "off direction". Your creativity and initiative on taking advantage of certain footage is a great asset and something we crave here at Vision Luxx Studios Inc.

Excellent communication and time management skills when it comes to project workflow. You will be assisted in knowing what projects we can spend X amount of time on v.s. another.

FCPX is a must-use as our entire team of editors/project managers utilize this program. You will not require your own computer as we supply a desktop for in-office use.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage and assemble video projects using Final Cut Pro X, adhering to project briefs, style guidelines, and established timelines.

Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and easy retrieval for future use.

Enhance video quality through color correction, audio adjustments, and other post-production techniques.

Collaborate with creative teams to develop and execute video concepts that effectively communicate our brand and messaging.

Trim and fine-tune footage, incorporating transitions, titles, graphics, and visual effects as required.

Work closely with the content team to understand project objectives and deliver video content that meets or exceeds expectations.

Stay up to date with industry trends, video editing techniques, and emerging software to continuously improve editing skills and explore innovative approaches.

Maintain a well-organized file structure and adhere to best practices for file management and version control.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure video content is consistent with overall brand standards and guidelines.

Handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Video Editor, preferably using Final Cut Pro X.

Strong proficiency in Final Cut Pro X, including advanced knowledge of editing techniques, transitions, audio mixing, color grading, and visual effects.

Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Suite software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop) is a plus.

Solid understanding of storytelling principles and the ability to craft compelling narratives through video editing.

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality work while maintaining efficiency.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Creative mindset and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your video editing skills and proficiency in Final Cut Pro X is highly preferred.
