Salary Range: $99,411-$124,274 (commensurate with experience)
Status: Permanent Full-Time

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Decision Support & Data Management will lead enablement of key category management areas, including: spend analytics, category strategy and data management.
This position will have accountability for UHN’s Supply Chain Decision Support function, which provides support to our Supply Chain teams: Purchasing, Logistics, Sourcing and Clinical Integration. Support entails providing information in the form of spend analysis, reports, KPIs and metrics for our supply chain teams to make informed decisions while also monitoring their performance.
This position will also have accountability for UHN’s SAP and Ariba Systems’ Master Data Governance. This includes executing adoption and oversight over data management activities for the entire Finance and Supply Chain portfolios. The role will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring adherence with the data governance policy, standards, and procedures in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders across UHN and the data lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Lead two teams:
- 1. Supply Chain Decision Support with a team of Analysts responsible for developing analytic solutions through predictive analytics, modeling, dashboards and reports.
- 2. Data Management with a team consisting of a Manager and Analysts responsible for administering changes to master data objects in SAP and Ariba in accordance to the data governance policy and standards.
- Be the portfolio expert on all key metrics for UHN Procurement and Supply Chain, leverage insights of data analytics to inform strategic decision making.
- Continuously identify and implement areas for improvement, aiming to provide timely and quality data management and analytic services.
- Ensure team collaboration with partners on business problems / issues and provide fact-based analytical advice that aligns to strategy.
- Recommend improvements to existing processes to support data analytics, including data collection in Source systems.
- Performs planning responsibilities; develops, implements, manages and reviews short and long-term plans which are in alignment with UHN’s goals and strategies.
- Performs quality management responsibilities.
- Manages all aspect of human resources.
- Manages the unit/department financial resources.
- Performs corporate management responsibilities that support and advance UHN’s goals.
- Performing cross-functional duties and other duties consistent with the job classification, as required
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree in a relevant field e.g. business, health informatics, data management, computer science, supply chain, finance, data science
- Minimum Four (4) years of related management work experience in a complex, public sector organization or healthcare institution is highly desired.
- Experience in managing and supervising teams in a fast-paced environment required.
- Experience with SAP and Ariba is an asset
- Proven experience with SQL and data management
- Experience in identifying and solving problems with minimal direction.
- Experience in forecasting and providing KPI-driven services.
- Knowledge of trends, strategic frameworks, and advances in data and analytics capabilities.
- Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution, governance etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professionals.
- High level of attention to details, efficient use of time, and project management skills are essential.
- Certification in Data Management, Data Governance or Data Analytics/Big Data, Data Maturity Model (DMM) is an asset. Proven equivalent and recent related education, training and experience may be considered.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
