We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Operations, Fulfillment & Support to join our diverse & vibrant team. Rümi is a bright new member of the ATCO family and operates 3 lines of business under the Rümi umbrella: Rümi Products & Services, ATCOenergy and Blue Flame Kitchen.

This role focuses on ATCOenergy within the Operations, Fulfillment & Support (OFS) team. ATCOenergy is a relatively new brand, having only started out in 2016. We may be young, but in that short amount of time we have grown to become the third largest energy retailer in the province. We provide energy solutions for homes and small businesses across Alberta. The Senior Analyst, Operations, Fulfillment & Support is a key, hands-on role. You’ll utilize your IT Service Management skills to ensure Call Center Agents & Supervisors, Developers, Designers and Product Owners have their needs met, as well as handling on-going operations, Vendor updates & enhancements to the ATCOenergy mass market Energy Billing System (EBS). In addition to this you’ll also interface with the vendor development teams & internal quality assurance teams to provide direction on how to maximize success of all projects, and ensure all projects have the necessary support from ideation & intake to release & sustainment.

Every day, you’ll...

• Be responsible for EBS operations supporting ATCOenergy mass market natural gas and electricity retail business, including monitoring of security and privacy measures and financial control points and EBS configurations to accommodate retail business operations
• Provide testing and maintenance required by the Vendor for EBS, and upkeep of documentation for Vendor products
• Work with mass market natural gas and electricity retail Business Owners to define requirements, user stories, and ensure validation/approval
• Lead and/or support internal and/or Vendor development teams with technical solutions to support Business needs while ensuring adherence to ATCO approved IT project delivery methods
• Manage or support the break-down of large projects into manageable deliverables and assign to qualified developers, designers, and testers
• Respond to and proactively follow up on urgent customer concerns and system Incident management
• Assist The Service Delivery group, Product Manager and Product Owner with product roadmaps, deployments and Quality Assurance activities
• Develop, implement, and manage IT project delivery processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery

What you have:

• 10 years’ of experience
• An Undergraduate degree
• Business mindset with very good numerical & analytical skills, and supervisory skills with the ability to manage team members
• In depth understanding of Agile methodologies and tools, as well as Waterfall
• Strong understanding of Jira, Jira plugins to support release management, and Confluence
• A drive to maintain a usable DevOps process as related to communicating upcoming releases to customers
• Experience with large-scale billing platforms
• Experience coordinating Developers and QA Specialists
