At the forefront of service delivery to individuals, families and communities, TCS is seeking a skilled, experienced and self-directed manager to assist in the development and monitoring of a Residential program for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties include:
· Managing a residential home;
· Developing residential/community activities and opportunities to enhance the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities;
· Participating in a person-centered planning process for individuals; and,
· Leading a team of staff members working in residential and community settings
To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate extensive experience as a Community Service Worker in a residential and/or community setting. Supervisory experience, mediation and advocacy skills are an asset. You must have a sincere commitment to providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
As the successful candidate, you will be an excellent interpersonal communicator and able to maintain a flexible schedule as necessary. You will also be a team player that is able to build relationships with individuals, families, staff members, employers and government ministries and organizations.
This position is based in Victoria. A personal vehicle is required. We offer a competitive salary with an excellent benefit package. Closing date to apply is December 20, 2022.
