Plant Manager
Location: Burlington, ON
Our client is a dynamic, growing manufacturing company and they are looking for a Plant Manager to join their team.
They are seeking an energetic individual seeking a long-term opportunity who is ready to make their mark. Ideally you come from a manufacturing environment, are a great communicator and know how to lead a team. Efficiency is key, as there is lots of volume in a just- in- time environment.

About this role:
- Manage all plant personnel and coordinate their schedule
- Manage safety program and safety training
- Manage daily production and quality control reports
- Consistently review run rates
- Oversee preventative maintenance of equipment
- Promote and practice continuous process improvements for optimal results
- Manage inventory cycle
- Oversee capital expense budget
- Coordinate with sales production requirements for future orders
- And other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in production/plant manufacturing environment
- 5+ years Lean manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Have implemented safety program/training in a previous role
- Team leader and customer focused
- Forklift Counter Balance is an asset
