We are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join our team!
The Role:
· Employee entry and data management in the payroll system
· Review and verification of Payroll data using knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations
· Process semi-monthly payroll
· Retrieve data from our payroll system, prepare, and submit various forms and reports
· Payroll email and file management
· Address Payroll inquiries from other team members and management
· Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, life insurance, health and dental insurance
· Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
The Ideal Candidate:
· You are able to handle confidential information with a high degree of care and professionalism
· You are analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy
· You are able to work under time pressures and tight deadlines
· You have excellent written and verbal communications skills
· You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
· You have exceptional calculation and memory skills
· You have outstanding time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
· You have a continuous learning/improvement mindset
· You are able to work in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating self-management capabilities
