- Project: Canadian Network Services is going through a large upgrade, this team will be removing old end of life equipment and planning the implementation of newer networks.

Typical Day in Role:
- Replace old end of life network gear with updated version throughout the Toronto campus
- Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades
- Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems
- Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas
- Develop and implement solutions for network problems
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 5+ years of Network/Systems Administration or related work experience
2. Technical working experience in supporting, deploying and interconnecting various network technologies at an enterprise scale
3. Hands on working experience with Networking operations systems such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
4. Hands on working experience with Data network technologies and solutions such as LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, Firewall technologies, gateways, load balancing and WAN optimization
5. Knowledge of IP enable voice network technologies, VOIP network design and VOIP integration
6. Knowledge of DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and other IP services
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience working on a large Network Upgrade project
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Salary: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
