Job Description:

The successful candidate will undertake the following responsibilities and duties:

• Strict adherence to food safety, health and safety policies
• Assist with bagging, pasteurization, and inoculation of mushroom blocks
• Maintaining the facilities for cleanliness and hygiene
• Coordinate shipping of blocks to grow-out facilities
• Contribute to the construction of the company’s expansions around Alberta
• Optimize production processes/process improvement strategies
• Responsible for effectively communicating with team and site leaders
• Work with teams from other sites to assist with implementing SOPs and R&D
• Other activities consistent with the role and title as may be prescribed from time to time

Skills & Qualifications:

The successful applicant must have the following qualifications and skills:

• Hands-on experience with tools and equipment is an asset
• Production work experience as asset
• General Labor and cleaning
• Shipping/receiving experience an asset
• Ability to lift loads of up to 50 lb
• Valid Alberta Driver’s license or ability to obtain
• MUST BE a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred and legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
