JOB TYPE: Apprenticeship - Permanent, Full-Time Employment; Day Shift; 40 hours + Per Week.

This position is eligible to join the company Medical Benefits plan after 3 months of continuous employment, and Profit Sharing Plan after 1 year of employment.

WORKING HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm; Overtime Likely; Paid Time-and -a-Half after 40hrs/week. Hours may change per the needs of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Apprenticeship - 2nd or 3rd year preffered. Concurrrently attending school / planning to complete schooling hours working towards CofQ under the 433A Industrial Millwright Apprenticeship Program. Tuition reimbursement will be offered subject to terms.

Job Purpose: Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Install, align, take apart and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
• Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
• Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation by using hand and power tools and welding equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Walking & Troubleshooting in 300,000 sq ft facility
• Lifting up to 100 lbs throughout the day with assistance
• Manual dexterity, frequent bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, squeezing, pulling, and pushing
• Exposure to noise, vibration, sawdust, vinyl dust
