Golden Medical Clinic is seeking a reliable and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse or MOA in practice with experience primarily for nursing related duties to join the care team at Golden Medical Clinic.

As the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Golden Medical Clinic you are responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care as established by the relevant governing body (BCCNM, etc.) and under the direction of the Clinical Nursing Manager and of the doctors of the Golden Medical Clinic.

Typical daily duties include such tasks as ensuring the rooms and equipment are appropriately stocked and prepared prior to and throughout the working day to ensure a timely flow of patients throughout the clinic. As appropriate the nurse will complete preliminary medical assessments, any physiological measurements required and ensure that patients are appropriately prepared prior to visiting with their doctor.

Qualifications:

Professional education and experience required:

· Graduate of recognized College or school of nursing.

· Current registration and in good standing with BCCNM.

· Recent clinical experience and demonstrated competence in Nursing Practice.

Professional education and experience preferred:

· Strong clinical skills.

· Excellent oral and written skills.

· Competency in computer based programs.

· Autonomous.

· Valid CPR and immunization competency certificate.

· Ability to work effectively with all members of the health care team.

· Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and be flexible in a very active work environment.
