Laboratory Assistant Job at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions
Veolia WTS is looking for Laboratory Assistant and Technician to implement water treatment analyses, protocols and sampling logistics in coordination with our research programs lead supervisor to support our research analytical plans.
The Laboratory collaborator (he or she) will be responsible to implement sampling, analytical protocols at our Water Process Laboratory in Oakville and/or Guelph offices.
Water analyses will consist in wastewater treatment plants samples, raw wastewater, biological activated sludge, biofilms... protocls such as solids filtration, settling charactistics, respirometry, density based protocols, microscope observations... experience with microbiology, FISH, qPCR will be a plus.
Looking for hands-on abilities in water and environmental analysis field from water insdustry experience, water operations or university lab...
The Laboratory Assistant is a role that focuses on assisting the department in the running and upkeep of the lab. This includes both administrative and research work. The appropriate candidate will possess a strong aptitude for both computer programs and chemistry, and must be willing to take direction well, but also be prepared to offer their own insights into this fast-paced environment.

Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week
Salary: $2,600.00-$3,000.00 per month
Schedule:
