Our client is a well established manufacturer located in the Kitchener Waterloo region.

Mandate

Reporting to the VP, the Production Planner ensures that multiple production schedules are established, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Working with various team members, the Production Planner ensures that materials and production equipment are available and planned in advance to meet customer demand timelines.

Key Accountabilities

The position will include the following responsibilities:

· Work with the Supply Chain team members to execute purchase requirements and ensure inventory is secured, and the proper lead times are met

· Partner with the VP to ensure production equipment is maintained

· Utilize the ERP system to maintain all production schedules and materials

· Keep the VP updated of any potential impediments that would slow down production

· Organize and create production documentation for a variety of team members

· Work with various supervisors and managers to address production issues

· Have ownership over the administrative functions of the Production department

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have the following:

Education:

· Diploma in Business Administration (Operations Management) or Mechanical Technology degree.

Experience:

· 3-5 years’ production or project administration experience in a manufacturing environment

· 2 years of ERP and MRP experience in a manufacturing environment

· Experience in a CNC manufacturing environment

Competencies and Attributes:

· Professional written and verbal communication skills

· Willingness to work a flexible schedule due to seasonal changes in production

· Proficiency with MS Office based software

· Knowledge of manufacturing principles

· Proficient with Health & Safety regulations as pertaining to production

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

• BRESLAU, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
