S.E.B Contracting is currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Heavy-Duty Mechanic, CVIP certified to join our team! An ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude who can work in a fast-paced environment. Must have truck and transport experience.

Scope:

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

· Maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of truck and trailers.

· Able to diagnose faults and malfunctions

· Adjust, repair, or replace all defective equipment, parts, components, or systems

· Test the repaired equipment for proper performance

· Complete all required paperwork pertaining to Safety, PM program, and service reports

· Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

· Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner

· Completes all maintenance and repair activities in a safe manner and ensures the work area is clean and organized according to company policies and procedures

Rotation & Accommodation

· The normal shift rotation is 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off (Days/Nights)

· Camp accommodation provided

· Travel to Fort McMurray is not provided

Schedule

· 12-hour shift

· Day Shift

· Night Shift

Location

· North of Fort McMurray

Skills & Qualifications

· Minimum 1-year experience working in a field environment

· Class 1 License (preferred)

· Proficiency in the use of all tools of the trade

· Basic computer skills required

· Must have CSTS & OSSA, or BSO or CSO

· Completion of Drug & Alcohol Screening
