PGC Services’ Health and Safety Department is hiring!

We are looking for an organized Health and Safety Administrator to support our Health & Safety team at our Aurora location! PGC Services specializes in excavation and trenching supporting all sectors within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain current and accurate H&S documentation.
  • Responsible for data entry and maintenance for various H&S data base systems such as SiteDocs.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of training matrices, incident/injury reports, and The Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Responsible for onboarding new employees by scheduling required training.
  • Responsible for ordering, tracking and distributing required PPE and uniforms.
  • Coordinate and communicate training schedule with operational team for annual training and certificate renewals.
  • Responsible for uploading and maintaining customer H&S portals such as ISN, Cognibox and Telidig.
  • Ensure timely registration of all training certificates and site-specific training requirements.
  • Support COR audit activities by gathering and preparing required documents for submission to auditors.
  • Complete WSIB reporting, tracking and coordination of injured worker case management.
  • Responsible for preventative and reactive site inspections.
  • Responsible for driving the Joint Health & Safety Council meetings by scheduling meetings, preparing agenda’s and recording minutes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Health &Safety admin role.
  • Competence with office administration is required.
  • Must be very organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
  • University/College education preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with health & safety software such as SiteDocs is an asset
  • Familiarity with COR is an asset
