Pollard Windows Inc. is currently seeking a variety of general labour candidates who are interested in an opportunity to grow with a leading Canadian manufacturer.

This position is eligible to join the company medical benefits plan after 3 months of continuous employment, as well as the Profit Sharing Plan after one year of employment.

Working Hours:

Day Shift: Monday - Friday (6:30am - 3:00pm), some Saturdays ( 4 - 8 hour shifts) during peak Season

Location: Burlington, Ontario.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent.

Experience: 1 year + General Labour or the ability to learn

Weight Handling:

Light Assembly = up to 25 lbs.

Final Assembly = 50 lbs.

Specific Skills: Perform other labouring and elemental activities. Most positions involve using hand tools, and working with either Vinyl, Wood, or Glass materials.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods.

Essential Skills: Reading text, Measuring, Numeracy, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory.

Other: Variety of manufacturing labour jobs available. Most involve pneumatic hand tools. Positions may include, but not limited to: machine operating, including saws, punch presses, CNC machines, etc.
