What You Will Do:
  • Receives production assignments from supervisor, and reports any parts and equipment shortages or non-conformances.
  • Moves parts and equipment to the work station manually or through the use of jib cranes, forklifts, overhead cranes
  • Assembles one or more of rod locks, drives, HPU’s, gensets or PC pumps through the use of a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Assembles products according to established procedures and tolerances.
  • Moves subassemblies and finished goods from the work station manually or through the use of jib cranes, forklifts, overhead cranes
  • Performs testing of products to specifications as required
  • Completes paperwork
  • Performs pre-use inspection of equipment

Position Details:
  • Working at the Oil Lift Calgary facility dominantly
  • Permanent
  • Full-time
  • Mainly working day shift operations, with overtime as required
  • Rotating shift between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)
  • Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on business conditions
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience considered an asset
  • Basic knowledge of measuring equipment is required
  • Must be Overhead crane certified
  • Must be Forklift certified
Physical Demands
  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
  • Pre-employment physical demands assessment required upon hire
  • Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with using hand tools an asset
  • Experience with using pallet jacks an asset
  • Organized, flexible and able to multi-task
  • Strong verbal communicational skills
  • Reliable
  • Works well alone and with others
  • Attention to details
  • Possesses basic computer skills such as Microsoft office suite
  • Able to read blueprints and drawing is an asset
