Responsibilities:
- Oversee the thinking and re-thinking of the platform’s front-end design.
- Collaborate with the team at every step of the development process to suggest and implement improvements.
- Leverage knowledge of UI/UX best practices to make recommendations and operate changes about page layouts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs and other technical issues.
- Develop website features using best practices of front-end technologies.
- Develop reusable code/functions for future use.
Skills:
- Experience as a front-end web developer (with preferably a portfolio of past work).
- Proficiency in front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Design and user experience skills.
- Experience with R/Shiny (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to work independently on self-initiated tasks, with a strong drive to continuously improve and innovate.
