The selected candidate will install, diagnose, maintain fiber and copper telecommunications networks (Internet, Phone, TV) and associated components, as well as be customer-focused, responsible, results-oriented, and provide a positive customer experience every time.

What you'll be doing:

• Install, repair, and maintain Fiber and Copper Network
• Troubleshooting Copper and Fiber Networks
• Installing data and voice cabling (Cat5e & Cat 6)
• Installing copper and fiber aerial drops from messenger/pole to the house
• Ability to distinguish colors
• Ability to climb ladders
• Crimp and terminate Cat5e RJ45 connector
• Strong command of the English language
• Neat appearance and good customer service skills
• Maintain a valid driver’s license
• Physically fit, ability to climb ladders
• Must be able to pass a background security check

Responsibilities:

• Comfortable using handheld tools and working at heights
• Installation, termination, & testing of Cat5e cable
• Follow safe drilling practices
• Follow safe work practices

Tools & Safety Gear:

• Safety Footwear
• Safety Vest
• Hard Hat , Safety Glasses and Glove

Complete Set of Hand Tools:

• All necessary tools of the trade will be provided
• Telecom copper/fiber test equipment will be provided

Job Type: Full-time

Training: Full Training is Provided

Experience:

• 0 -1 year of experience in Telecom, Cable or related technology field
• Technology Degree/Diploma in Telecommunications or relevant technical education
• Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
