Novo Peak Health has been an innovative and progressive force in the Eldercare industry for over 20 years; providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and assistive devices program services (ADP) to long-term care and retirement homes, and community-based locations across Ontario. We have a strong, clinician led management team with industry-related experience available to support the onsite team.

Novo Peak Health is currently looking for a Part-time Exercise Instructor to instruct group exercise classes in NEWMARKET AND RICHMOND HILL, ON.

Schedule: There are 5 locations: 3 in Richmond Hill and 2 in Newmarket. Richmond Hill locations and Newmarket locations are 10-15 minutes from each other with Newmarket and Richmond Hill being about 20-30 mins. All classes allow for travel time in between locations. You will be provided with a T2200 form at tax time in order to claim travel expenses.

• Monday: Location 2 from 11:30am-12:30pm; Location 1 from 1 - 1:45pm; Location 3 from 2:30 - 3:30 pm
• Tuesday: Location 1 from 9:30 - 11 am; Location 3 from 3 - 4 pm
• Wednesday: Location 2 from 11:30am - 12:30pm; Location 1 from 1 - 1:45 pm; Location 3 from 2:30 - 3:30pm
• Thursday: Location 1 from 9:30 - 11 am; Location 3 from 3 - 4 pm
• Friday: Location 5 from 10 - 11 am; Location 3 from 1:30 - 2:30 pm; Location 4 from 3:30 - 4:30pm
• Saturday: Location 4 from 10:30 - 11:15am; Location 3 from 11:15am-12:15pm

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma in Physiotherapist Assistant program, Fitness and Health Promotion, Kinesiology or relevant health/fitness related discipline
• Previous experience working with seniors or leading group classes is an asset
• Must be fluent in English and have great oral and motivational skills
• Must be punctual and be able to work independently
• Current Vulnerable Sector Screen (this can be done upon offer)
• 2 Step TB Test (this can be done upon offer)
• Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
