- Hours/shift: Wednesday - Saturday; 6am - 4pm

As an Equipment Operator, you will:
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, screeners, dozers and graders based on qualifications.
- Soil fabrication and organics management (biosolids, food waste, yard waste, compost)
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
- Inspect and verify product condition to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures.
- Provide internal and external customer service excellence.
- Work in adherence to all safe work practices and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements.
- Provide feedback to the employer on working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency of the yard, shop, department, or work crew.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Previous relevant experience operating heavy equipment is an asset (i.e. loader, dozer, excavator)
- Experience with routine maintenance operations
- A positive team attitude
- A strong safety mindset
- Mechanically inclined
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment as a member of a team
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Experience working with computers is an asset
- Must have reliable transportation
