Environmental & Demolition Estimator/Project Manager Job at The Cannington Group Inc.
Reporting to the CEO and working with senior management, the Environmental & Demolition Estimator/Project Manager will plan, direct and coordinate bids and proposal activities directly relating to remediation, construction and demolition projects. Upon award of projects, you will ensure the successful initiation, planning, monitoring and closure of a project.
Responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Attending pre-bid walkthroughs
- Prepare quantity take-offs
- Break down projects into functional stages and sequencing for the purpose of preparing estimates
- Write technical proposals
- Prepare bid analysis and reviews
- Prepare job costing analysis and reports on completed jobs
- Resource subcontractors, materials, consumables and equipment
- Planning and Defining Scope
- Activity Planning and Sequencing
- Resource Planning
- Developing Schedules
- Time & Cost Estimating
- Documentation including Charts and Schedules
- Risk Analysis and Managing Risks and Issues
- Monitoring and Reporting Progress
- Working with Vendors
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 to 10 years Environmental Industry and Estimation experience. Three (3) of which must be of Project Manager or Estimator status.
- Must be competent in estimating earthwork activities, environmental remediation activities and civil engineering concepts as they relate to environmental remediation, demolition and construction.
- Computer experience in Windows 10, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Valid Ontario G driver’s license free of serious offenses under the Highway Traffic Act.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from various job sites and meetings, as required (Vehicle allowance provided).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
