JOB SUMMARY:
To efficiently provide and apply all relevant engineering technologies to the Company and to support the Company in all technical issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and construction of tools and fixtures; improve technology as it relates to all tooling
- Commission and deploy robotic programming
- Prepare, review and approve technical drawings
- Generate controls to support and improve manufacturing processes
- Prepare and approve all process requirements and document to the relevant process standard
- Generates Engineering Cost Estimates for new production opportunities
- Assist the Engineering Team with both internal and external engineering document change notices (DCNs)
- Consult with the Engineering Team to identify critical characteristics of products
- Champion manufacturing improvements through recommendations to the Operations Team
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Completion of post secondary school specializing in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Understanding of material science / metallurgy
- Knowledge of PLC and CNC programming
- Understanding of powder metallurgy processing (powder characterization, powder flow assessment)
- Machining, controls, tool making skills
- GD&T
- Metrology, ideally PCDMIS knowledge
- Knowledge of process control & statistical process control (including but not only Minitab)
- Solidworks
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
